“I had to travel to Paignton for children's week with an American truck called Optimus Prime and I decided to stay for two nights. I was running late due to traffic and very poor signs from Torbay council regarding a low bridge but even though I arrived after the allotted time the hosts were fantastic. I was given room 7 top of the house with en-suite. I was given the keys and I paid for my trip. I then went out and returned late but this was not a problem... Lovely breakfast even though not ordered the night before... Strongly recommend and will be staying again... Thank you.”

“Cannot recommend it highly enough”
“I’m usually more of a fan of chain hotels but we booked this place for the weekend and cannot recommend it highly enough. My double room was quite modern, with an extremely comfortable bed. The owner was friendly and the whole place is tucked away from the front so on the most part it’s quiet. A little tip for any light sleepers is that the train track runs behind the building so a front facing room may be better.”

“Me and my partner stayed here last weekend as we were at a wedding in Paignton. We were greeted by the host on arrival and shown to our room. The en-suite room was clean with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent in the morning, I had a Full English and a croissant - but cereals were also available - was so nice to order wholemeal toast and actually get wholemeal not whole grain! The location was ideal, right off the seafront and less than 10 minutes’ walk (though a pretty little park) into the town. Great little B&B, would book here again without hesitation if we were to go to Paignton again. Great service - can't fault it.”

“We stayed here for a short break on our visit to Devon, the price was very responsible for half term the room was on suite with flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. It was pet-friendly, so we were allowed to bring our Labrador along too. The breakfasts are outstanding with lots of choice. We recommend the hotel for those on a budget or just passing through. We received a very warm welcome and interesting conversations from a very outgoing friendly proprietor.”
